YAY!!
Spring Break is here!!
Now I wish the
weather would just cooperate a bit!
This coming week, I plan to relax a bit, maybe catch
up with some blogging and then… we are going to the Alicia Keys Girl on Fire
Concert…in Toronto! It is only a 2 hour drive away, and I am SO EXCITED!!
It will prove to be the highlight of my spring break!
I am a huge fan of Alicia Keys! She is truly a talented artist (whom I
had the pleasure of meeting years ago at her book signing) and after 10 years,
she still remains my favorite artist, always keeping it classy with her wonderful
work! This will be the 2nd time
I attend one of her concerts and I cannot wait!!!!
Anyhow,
I will save all the excitement for later!!
It has
been all about eggs and letters the past few days with my little munchkin.
Here are
just a few simple activity ideas that we did throughout the week to practice
learning letters with a fun Easter theme!
I saw
this idea on Apples and ABCs blog, using sight words and I just tweaked the
activity for my little one!
We worked on letter identification with these cute little eggs that I found at
the Dollar Tree. I filled them with letter tiles, Easter confetti and some
jellybeans! My personal favorites are Starburst Jelly Beans…Pure
Deliciousness!!!
She
emptied each egg and named the letters that were in each one! And as a special
bonus, if she named all the letters correctly, she was able to eat the jelly
beans that were inside the eggs!
And
here is another idea that we have yet to do, but she has been waiting for me to
get it all together!
I
was still on a Peep high from our Peep-tastic fun from earlier this week, so I
created a Peeps Alphabet Match FREEBIE just in time for EASTER, which is also featured
on this week’s Freebie Friday at Teaching Blog Addict.

Hi! Love the name of your blog. My favorite cafe press item is my pirate beagle shirt that I bought because my classroom theme this year is Bartram's Buccaneers. Yes I have a beagle. I have worn my shirt so much I will be needing to replace it for next year.
ReplyDeleteThe T-shirt I picked was I Teach Superpower Plus. Thanks for the giveaway!!
