This week has gone by very quick (yea!) and this week, I realized just how effective my behavior management plan is working!
In our preschool program, we are currently using a social emotional curriculum called Second Step and when you tie that into a Warm & Fuzzy Jar and a wonderful teaching team.... BAM! Success!
I know that I have written once before (ok, ok, maybe more) about the challenges that I have in the classroom this year, and although it still holds true, it is a hell of alot better than the first half of the year! But it has been noted - and noticed by others- that things seem to be leveling out a little and there isn't as much drama as before!
Anyhow, I am rambling... point is that we started a Warm & Fuzzy jar before Christmas and we earned a Show & Tell Day before the break AND we just earned a Pajama Day! I am going to work in my pjs tomorrow!!
The munchkins seem to really be catching on to the whole concept. Their social skills are showing improvement and now, as we approach mid-year, things seem to be falling in place...slowly...but still happening!
So needless to say, it has been a great week! And I will end the week by selecting a winner for my very 1st GIVEAWAY--which ends tomorrow!
Don't forget to enter today!
